Her distinguished career spans decades of international reporting, economic anchoring, and high-profile interviews with world leaders, top government officials, and leading economists.
As a highly versatile bilingual moderator, advisor, and coach, she brings precise, polished delivery in both English and Japanese to high-stakes settings—including international conferences, academic forums, corporate events, and major media productions.
Raised in Seattle, Washington, Yuko graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Law and studied at Brown University in the United States. Before launching her broadcast career at NHK, she began her professional journey in the financial sector at UBS Securities in Tokyo.
